Working out how much concrete you need for your project should be straight forward but we always advise you discuss with us first before deciding on your total order volume.
A major benefit of ordering concrete with 365 Concrete is that we use Volumetric Concrete Mixers, this means that we mix on site meaning that under/over ordering is a thing of the past.
If your area differs in depth, take an average measurement for your calculation. Bear in mind that measurements are never 100% accurate and ground conditions differ so calculations should be used as a good guide.
To get the right measurements for your concrete slab, follow these simple instructions and insert the measurements in our calculator:
A – Measure the total length of the widest side of the area where your concrete slab will be laid.
B – Measure the total length of the shortest side of the area where your concrete slab will be laid.
C – Measure the total height of the slab. Starting at the bottom of the slab area and up to the top edging of where the concrete surface will be.
To get the right measurements for your foundations or trench, follow these simple instructions and insert the measurements in our calculator:
A – Measure the total length of your foundation trench as if they were in a straight line.
B – Measure the widest area of the foundation trench, this will give you a good estimate.
C – Measure the the depth of the foundation trench from the lowest point up to your marked foundation line.
To get the right measurements for your piling, follow these simple instructions and insert the measurements in our calculator:
A – Measure the total depth of your project from the ground up until you reach the area that your concrete will surface
B – Measure the width dimension of the top of the piling. This may well not work using a concrete calculator, we always advise speaking to our team to help with these measurements.
